Recently, the China Association of Construction Enterprise Management announced the results of the 2025 Engineering Construction Science and Technology Awards. This year, China MCC received a total of 17 awards, including two First Prizes and nine Second Prizes for Scientific and Technological Progress, four Third Prizes for Scientific and Technological Progress, one Third Prize for Technological Invention, and one Women's Innovation Award in Science and Technology. Both the number and caliber of awards affirm China MCC's continued leading position within the industry.
The project "Research and Application of Key Technologies for Intelligent Construction of Complex Curved Metal Roofs", spearheaded by China MCC5 Group, was awarded the First Prize. Addressing the challenges of "difficult design coordination, significant construction deviations, and low installation accuracy" in complex curved metal roof systems, the project developed an intelligent collaborative design platform for complex curved roofs, proposed a fusion intelligent algorithm based on point cloud data, and created an intelligent construction technology for large steel structures using "non-rigid registration–real-time correction" based on point cloud data. It also established an integrated technical system encompassing "digital roof design–intelligent steel structure construction–high-precision metal roof installation". These outcomes have been effectively applied in 53 projects, such as the Kunming Cultural Plaza and the Chengdu Tianfu Art Park, delivering significant economic and social benefits and achieving good application results.
The project "Beijing Railway Hub Fengtai Station Reconstruction Project (Station Building)", in which China MCC22 Group Corporation Ltd. participated, was awarded the First Prize. It developed key technological systems for the efficient construction of mega steel structures, coordinated multi-system cross-construction, and intelligent operation, maintenance, and energy-saving control. By realizing a composite transportation model of "high-speed rail above, conventional rail at ground level, and metro below", the project deeply integrated green building technologies with intelligent passenger station systems, significantly enhancing both transportation efficiency and passenger experience. The innovative achievements have been successfully applied in the Xiong'an High-speed Railway Station building, providing important technological support for China's construction of a strong transportation country.
